President Muhammadu Buhari has been described as a rare patriot, lover of youths, apostle of zero tolerance for corruption and a consummate democrat with a milk of human kindness, given his track record of performance and love for the downtrodden masses in particular and the honest Nigerians in general.
Barji David Bitrus, a progressive youth, grassroots politician and an aspirant who contested the party primary into the House of Representatives told journalists that President Buhari has done the youths in Nigeria proud by signing the Not Too Young To Run Bill into law.
According to him, President Buhari has endeared himself to the Nigerian youths by building a solid bridge of relationship across Nigeria and thus secured the political, social and economic future of the Nigerian youths.
Barji, who aspires to represent the Pankshin/Kanke and Kanam federal constituency of Plateau State in the Federal House of Representatives explained that Buhari, more than any other leader in the past has carried the youths along adding that what is left is for the youths to learn from the old politician by emulating the impeccable qualities of the President, especially his sworn desire to make Nigeria a better place for all and sundry irrespective of tribe, religion and cultural differences.
The seasoned politician also praised performing youths in office citing the examples of Governor Lalong of Plateau State, President George Weah of Liberia and Macron of France among many others.
Explaining why the youths should brace up to the challenges ahead and look forward to a very bright future ahead of them, Barji, an experienced political aide of Senator Abu Ibrahim for 16 years reporters that, as a democrat he believes that the essence of politics is to render selfless service to humanity.
