Nigeria’s first choice goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho kept a clean sheet on his Spanish Segunda debut for Elche on Friday in their 2-0 home win over Malaga reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
A goal in each half from Neider Lozano in the 36th minute and another from Borja Martinez sealed Elche’s second win of the season after ten games.
Uzoho who is currently on a season loan deal from Deportivo La Coruna made four outstanding saves in the encounter as he helped his side moved up to 14th in the Spanish Segunda table with 11 points from ten games.
The game was his second appearance for the club since he joined.
Elche host Real Zaragoza at home in their game.
