Polls: Al-Makura’s aide urges electorate to accept outcome in good faith.


Keffi (Nasarawa State) March 10,2019 Mr Imran Usman-Jibrin, Senior Special Assistant(SSA) to Gov.Tanko Al-Makura of Nasarawa State on Inter-Party Affairs, has urged the people to accept the outcome of the election results in good faith.

Usman-Jibrin made the call on Sunday in while fielding questions from newsmen in Nasarawa, Nasarawa Local Government Area of the state.

He commended the voters in the state for their maturity and peaceful conduct during and after the elections.

“The exercise was peaceful and orderly and I want to commend the electorate for their peaceful conduct during the election.

“I will also urge the electorate to be patient and keep on being peaceful and praying for the success of the exercise,” he said.

He expressed optimism that the candidates of All Progressives Congress (APC) would come victorious at the end of the exercise.

“I am certain that victory is ours because from what we are seeing the people have spoken,” he said.

Usman-Jibrin also commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for conducting the elections transparently.
