Twenty-six first class graduates are among the 10,331 graduating students expected to receive their certificates from the University of Abuja on Saturday, the Vice Chancellor, Prof.  Abdul-Rasheed Na’allah, said on Thursday in Abuja.

Na’Allah, at a pre-convocation briefing, said that 866 made second class upper, 2,217 had second class lower, 339, third class, while 52 graduated with pass degrees.

He said that the university would introduce entrepreneurship programme from 200 level to address unemployment and youth restiveness in the country.

The Vice Chancellor urged the graduating students to rise to the challenge of unemployment in the country by being creative so as to be self-reliant.

Na’allah advised incoming students to take their studies seriously and shun any form of indiscipline that could truncate their mission to the university.
