5.3-magnitude quake hits off eastern Indonesia

A 5.3-magnitude earthquake jolted 257 km northwest of Saumlaki, eastern Indonesia, on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The quake, which occurred at 0013 GMT, was initially determined to be at 7.138 degrees south latitude and 129.1327 degrees east longitude, with a depth of 127.76 km.
