Ajimobi, All Progressives Congress (APC) Deputy National Chairman (South), described Pa Adelere as
one of Nigeria’s progressive-minded politician.
Ajimobi said though the late Pa Adelere lived to a ripe old age of 90 years, his death still came with regrets.
“He was committed to the ideals of progressive politics as espoused by the late sage, all through his life.
The former governor said that the death of Pa Adelere had left a vacuum in the progressives fold, saying the people of Iseyin, Oke Ogun and Oyo State would also miss his sage advice as well as support in years to come.
“I share in the grief of the Aseyin, his immediate family, associates, Oke-Ogun people, Oyo State and Nigeria, especially those who would continue to miss the void he left behind.
“In spite of his advanced age, I know that no words can adequately capture the grief and pains of the loss. I, however, pray that the Almighty God consoles you all,” he said.
