State has vowed to revolutionalised the industrial sector with development of a major feeder cargo and shipping hub valued at 6 billion US Dollars if  elected  governor.

Mr Felix Perewarifagha, the Public Relation Officer of the “Bestman Festus Campaign Organisation’’, disclosed this in a statement on Monday in Abuja.

Nigeria News Agency reports that Festus is seeking the governorship ticket of the party to contest the Nov.16 governorship election on the platform of Advanced Nigeria Democratic Party (ANDP).

Perewarifagha also disclosed that the aspirant had adopted a workable plan to install 2,000 Mega Watt Power Plant to lighten the state through Public Private Partnership initiative.

The PRO further said that the governorship candidate projected N4 billion as monthly Internal Generated Revenue (IGR).

Perewarifagha said if his principal pulled through to secure the position of a governor, the state would focus on creating high paying employment for the youths and other able bodied persons who wished to work.

“Economic development policies that guarantee jobs for the youths signifies the sensitivity of any government.

“This is the reason why I am running for Governor.  Youths Redemption from unemployment and social pressure reduction is my strategic political objective.

Bayelsa needs more than one Seaport. Lagos has two seaports at about a kilometre distance. I vow to use our sea to create 100,000 direct and 300,000 indirect employments.

“As President of Niger Delta Business Roundtable (NDBR), I met with investors who spent money and time to carry out both aerial and physical survey on a seaport project in our state.

“ However, we were frustrated by our leaders from carrying out this project since 2014.

“These investors spoke with me even  yesterday that  they will be in Creek Haven within two months  of my swearing in, when elected,  to commence this project in the  Akassa and Koluama axis.

“There will be Super-Highways and Railways with a new city springing up through  Peremabiri to connect Yenagoa Mainland.

“ Only vision and passion can pull the youths and everyone living in Bayelsa out of economic slavery.

“Countries and states that are making significant socio-economic progress vote for smart, educated, competent, patriotic and visionary leaders to sustainably make impact and progress.

“I am here to help, correct and improve the living conditions of our people.  I am entering the race to win so that I can solve the problem of youth unemployment’’,  Festus said.

Festus said that his development template remained the toast of party members and the Bayelsa voters.

“This industrial revolution will ignite voluntary migration of industries to the state.

“His administration will provide the enabling laws and environment for the private sector to thrive.

“This is the only way he feels the unemployment and infrastructural challenges can be addressed in the state,’’ he said.
