BBNaija (S4): Ex-housemates join final Saturday night party

All evicted housemates were surprise guests at the final party of the ongoing BBNaija season four.

Nigeria News Agency reports that the final five – Mercy, Mike, Omashola, Seyi and Frodd – were shocked when they saw their former housemates in the party room.

The party, with two Disc Jockeys and a musical performance, had a snag as evicted housemates could see and hear the finalists but could not make physical contact because of a glass barrier.

The barrier prevented couples in the house, Mercy and Ike, and Frodd and Esther from touching each other and dancing together as usual.

Housemates were dressed in outfits from Ochulo and rocked the glitz and glam themed party with Mercy and Mike leading the trail in their sparkly outfits.

NAN reports that viewers took to social media to applaud the show organisers for putting together “the best Saturday night party ever.”

@Joey_mokene said, “All I saw was Ike and Mercy blowing kisses to each other, thank you Biggie party was lit.”

@Bulletproof said, “I swear…. the best of all parties. I miss those beautiful faces. I can’t wait For the grand finale today.”

@Jenjen_lively tweeted, “Biggie you finally killed us yesterday, where else can we see the pepper himself if not Biggie, awwwww, weldone to all the organisers, you guys really killed it.”

@Enblessed tweeted, “Biggie burst my brain. The party was a bomb. Thank you Biggie.”

NAN reports that the grand finale will hold on Sunday and only one housemates out of the final five will walk away with N60 million worth of prizes. (NAN)

BBNaija (S4): ‘Be yourself’ – Patience Ozokwor tell housemates

Veteran actress, Patience Ozokwor has advised the Big Brother Naija season four housemates to remain true to themselves after the show.

Nigeria News Agency reports that ‘Mama G’ said this during her visit to the house alongside actresses, Kemi Akindoju, Osas Ighadoro and Dakore Egbuson-Akande.

The visit, tagged ‘Dinner with the stars’, also included actors John Okafor aka Mr Ibu, Chinedu Ikedieze aka Aki and fashion designer, Mai Atafo.

Speaking to the top ten housemates, Ozokwor said, “Be yourself at all times and watch people. Don’t live in a world of your own.

“Watch people as variety is the spice of life. The courage you have put into this first step, add more to it for the next step,” she said.

In a question and answer session, housemates asked the stars how they could conduct themselves as celebrities when the show is over.

In response, Dakore told them to remain humble as it was an attribute lacking in the industry. She also explained the power of positive energy.

She said, “Humility is something that is lacking in the entertainment industry. Try and hold on to your humanity. Find what you love and do it a lot.

“Surround yourself with people who genuinely love you. Surround your self with good energy,” she added.

Echoing her words, Ikedieze said, “Your creativity will take you far but your attitude will take you farther. Maintain a great attitude.”

When housemate, Mike asked Mr Ibu how he got his job. Ibu replied, “Jobs get me. I don’t get jobs. Whatever you are doing, do it well. All those things will meet you where you are.”

On her part, Osas told the housemates to create respectful boundaries and not let themselves be in situations they don’t want to be in.

She said, “You don’t have to be in any situation you don’t want to be in. It comes down to respecting yourself and being comfortable in that situation and flourishing out of it.”

Meanwhile Kemi Akindoju and Mai Atafo addressed the housemates on the importance of choosing a worthwhile career path after the house instead of going for the hype.

Akindoju said, “When this is over, it is important to ask yourself what you want to be remembered for.”

Also, Atafo told the housemates, “The worst thing is for you to want to do something trendy when you are out. Find something you are passionate about.”

BBNaija introduces Enkay, Joe as new housemates

Two more housemates Enkay and Joe Abdallah have been introduced to the 2019 Big Brother Naija reality show.

Nigeria News Agency reports that the housemates were introduced on Wednesday night shocking other housemates and viewers.

This comes a day after ‘Biggie’ introduced Venita Akpofure and Elozonam Ogbolu as new housemates following an earlier announcement.

Introducing herself, Enkay, a tailor, said, she was “very selfless.” She added that she is the salt that is missing in the House.

On his part, Joe, a creative director, said he was in the House to showcase his artistic talent in addition to bringing some spice to the game.

NAN reports that in a twist, Joe has been speculated as fellow housemate, Khafi’s ex-boyfriend and their excited reaction when they saw each other further fueled speculations.

An excited Khafi welcomed Joe and asked what he was doing in the house. To which he replied, “I am here for you.”

Taking over as the man on the throne, Frodd wasted no time in conducting induction for the new Housemate – Enkay, even as other Housemates were trying to welcome her in.

A happy-looking Frodd took Enkay by the arm, sat her down and introduced himself as the Head of House (HoH) before trying to start a conversation with her.

Frodd had employed similar strategy with Venita, however, Omashola had stolen the show as he helped her get settled in the house.

Fans and housemates are on edge seeing as these new additions came after seven housemates had been evicted.

This week, Mike, Omashola, Tacha and Jeff are up for possible eviction as fans expect ‘Biggie’ to add more housemates.

BBNaija (S4): Fans hail new housemates Venita, Elozonam

Two new housemates Venita Akpofure and Elozonam Ogbolu were introduced on Tuesday, stirring up excitement among fans of the show.

Nigeria News Agency reports that at exactly 7pm, the Big Brother Naija doors were open to the newest members of the ‘pepper dem’ gang following a prior announcement by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.

The new female housemate, Venita is an actress, model and video vixen who rose to fame by paying ‘Mimi’ in the widely acclaimed ‘AYs crib’ produced by comedian, Ayo Makun.

She played AY’s quirky but uptight love interest in the sit-com and has also appeared in several other movies and music videos.

The male housemate, Elozonam is graduate of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Ghana. He is an actor, voice artist, director and also a producer.

The resident 14 housemates, who thought they were expecting visitors, were visibly shocked at the addition of two more housemates.

While Omashola and Frood tried to show Venita around, the others were more cautious observing the housemates from a distance.

Fans, however, were excited for the new additions seeing as they had followed their careers before the show.

The new housemates raised expectations on what some fans already describe as ‘a boring fourth season’, hoping that Venita and Elozonam will add more live to the show.

@Hawtpursuit tweeted, “These new hms are actually doing the dares. elozonam is actually bringing pepper..the old ones are just dry. Everything they wont do #bbnaija”

@Jessechikwe7 said, “Venita and Elozonam are really giving us the much entertainment we have been looking for. #BBNaija”

@Megxooffical said, “Venita looks like she came with Atarodo and Shombo! Elozonam looks like a grown up korede bello that Diane and Esther will want for lunch and Dinner.”

@Unbeatablediva said, “Really love the way venita introduced herself, yes she’s a mother of 2. She didn’t hide anything. Am beginning to like her already.”

@officialdara said, “Aunty venita is doing as if she has not been watching bbn at home.”

@Nennybeatrice tweeted, “The moment Venita enter big brother house ooooo tension everywhere.”

@Erica said, “#BBNaija Venita and elozonam. Two people I know and love already. Okay, Biggie I see you.”
