Mr Nya-Etok Ezekiel, a business mogul, has urged Nigerian youths to stop seeking political position for the sake of get-rich-quick syndrome but dwell on a acquiring entrepreneurial skills to enable them contribute to the social and economic development of Africa.

He gave the advice on Friday during a two-day Africa Youth Summit (AYS) in Abuja which centred on sustainable entrepreneurship endeavour.

He said that most people, particularly youths, who went into politics to get cheap money, hardly make successful entrepreneur.

He further urged youths to give attention to the culture of virtue, value, excellence and integrity.

“The first step to take toward becoming a sustainable entrepreneur is by having an idea, ideas come in sizes .

” Money should not be the first thing you look out for while embarking on the journey to become an entrepreneur, if you do, you would be a very big failure in life.

“You don’t pick up success from the floor, you work for it. Success is not something you run into, you plan and work toward it.

“Success doesn’t respect status, it comes to those who are ready to discipline themselves, work very tirelessly, who have developed passion for what they do and who are not ready to give up.”
