A Kubwa Grade 1 Area Court, Abuja, on Monday remanded 27-year-old Nelson Fredrick in prison, for causing grievous hurt.
Fredrick, of Kubwa village market, Abuja, pleaded guilty to a two-count charge of criminal conspiracy and causing grievous hurt, levelled against him, and begged for leniency.
The judge, Ibrahim Balarabe, convicted Fredrick of the charge, and deferred his sentence until March 18.
The prosecutor, Babajide Olanipekun, told the court that one Igba Timothy reported the matter at the Kubwa Police Station on Feb. 12.
He said that the defendant and others at large, attacked the complainant with a broken bottle and inflicted injuries on his head.
