Don tasks associations on project development in communities

An Associate Professor at the Lagos Business School, Dr Ogechi Adeola, has urged associations to impact more communities with development projects in 2020, as a strategy to pull more Nigerians out of much suffering. Adeola, a member of Alliance Manchester Business School, United Kingdom, Nigerian Chapter, said in Lagos that impacting  rural communities particularly through education and healthcare projects would add value.

The don also said that empowering women would change the Nigerian society positively. The don spoke at the 2019 annual meeting of the association.

Adeola urged individuals, associations and organisations to do things differently in 2020 to achieve better results.

“Members can actively and consciously build their personal brands in 2020. If they don’t get branded, there is the tendency that they will be labelled. “He who dares, wins, and he who wins, dares,” she said.

Adeola said that the Alliance Manchester Business School, United Kingdom, Nigerian Chapter, should open a new chapter in its service to humanity and conceive a vision that would focus on supporting schools.

“Continue to think on how the association can make a difference. Impact is better felt with good schools and health centres in communities,” she said.

She noted that the association had visited some Lagos communities including Makoko to know how it could impact the residents.
