Ile-Ife (Osun), April 21, 2019 Pastor Timothy Bakare, a Zonal Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Oke-Ibukun Iloro Zonal Headquarters, has called on Christians to use the resurrection of Jesus Christ to remodel their lives.
Bakare made the call at the Easter Sunday Service of the church at Ile-Ife on Sunday.
He said that some Christians were mere “church goers” without imbibing the tenets of the scriptures, adding that this was responsible for their appalling behaviour.
According to him, the Easter should not be a routine festival but one Christians must understand as depicting the salvation of Christ for humanity.
Bakare also urged Christians to present themselves to God as holy and acceptable, saying this was the evidence of reasonable service.
The Zonal Superintendent stated further that the second coming of Jesus Christ was imminent and Christians must sustain their service to the faith.
