Eld-el Fitri: Sen. Adeola felicitates Muslims, preaches love, peaceful coexistence

Sen. Solomon Adeola (APC, Lagos-West) and Chairman, Senate Committee on Finance, on Friday, felicitated Muslims on the successful completion of Ramadan fasting and celebration of Eid-el Fitri.
Adeola, in a message issued by his Media Adviser, Chief Kayode Odunaro, to the Islamic faithful in his constituency and other Nigerians, prayed Allah to answer their supplications, especially on quick end to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“It is hoped that the spiritual lessons of Ramadan and the injunctions of Holy Prophet Mohammed on self-denial, love, peaceful coexistence, fairness and justice will continue in their daily lives,” Adeola said.
The senator called on Muslims and other Nigerians to continue the observance of all precautionary protocols against COVID-19 pandemic ravaging the world.
He also urged them to pray against incessant killings across the country, stressing that Islam is a religion of obedience, peace, love of Allah and fellow human beings.
Adeola called for continuity in the pious and righteous ways associated with the Ramadan fast.
He also called for continued obedience to lawful orders, tolerance and peaceful coexistence in this pandemic era, as government was working to find solutions to the country’s challenges.
