Ghana’s COVID-19 cases reach 6,617



Ghana’s number of COVID-19 cases has increased to 6,617, with 131 more cases confirmed as of Saturday, the Ghana Health Service (GHS) has said.

The GHS said in its latest update that the number of recovered cases has risen by 21, bringing the number of recoveries to 1,978, while the death toll stays at 31.

Currently, Nigeria and Ghana have the highest numbers of COVID-19 cases in West Africa.

Ghana still keeps its borders closed to prevent imported cases.
