The TIDA president said, he had consistently cautioned Tiv people in the state to be calm and law abiding despite provocations and unwarranted attacks on their communities.
Ifer said that Tiv communities in Obi, Keana and Awe Local Government Areas of the state have recently witnessed series of attack allegedly over land.
He noted that the Tiv people are peace-loving, law abiding and would not engage in acts capable of breaching the peace in the state.
Ifer, however, explained that there was no crisis among the Tiv people, especially in the association, urging the public to disregard any claims of disharmony.
He said that Ifer has provided leadership that has prevented a lot of crisis between Tiv and other ethnic nationalities, hence the need to support him.
