A cleric, Rev. Abraham Okunade, on Friday called on government at all levels to be more proactive in tackling the security challenges confronting the country.
Okunade, who is the Chaplain of Gray International College, Ede, Osun, told the Agency of Nigeria in Osogbo that all stakeholders must support government in evolving proactive strategies to halt the violence in the country.
” Traditional rulers , community leaders and religious organisations must synegise through information sharing with security agencies to tackle criminal activities.
” There must be a joint effort of all relevant stakeholders in tackling security issues in the country.
” For any country to grow and develop, security considerations either chase away investors or attract more investors,” he said.
