The country’s Deputy Health Minister Nurbolot Usenbaev said at his daily online news briefing that among the newly infected, 27 are medical workers, raising the total number of infected medical workers to 326, including 247 recoveries.
He said that 23 people recovered from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, and 1,066 have been discharged from hospitals after showing improvement.
He noted that, currently, 512 patients are still in hospitals, and six of them are in intensive care.
The deputy minister said that 3,706 tests for the virus were held in the past 24 hours, and 105,855 analyses have been carried out in the country since Feb. 5.
A total of 2,648 people who have contacted with infected patients are under medical observation, and another 7,184 are in home quarantine under the supervision of doctors for the same reason.
