A 47-year-old man, Adebayo Olofinlade, on Wednesday appeared before a Badagry Magistrates’ Court in Lagos for allegedly obtaining N141,000 under false pretences.

Olofinlade is facing a three-count charge of obtaining money under false pretences, stealing and breach of peace, the offences which he denied.

The Prosecutor, ASP Akpan Ikem, told the court that the accused committed the offences on Feb. 10, at about 8:30 p.m. at No 40, Faloye Str., Ketu in Ijanikin area of Lagos.
