Mr Bisi Yusuf, Member, Lagos State House of Assembly, representing Alimosho Constituency 1, says his free health mission was structured to continue with or without his presence.

The Lagos lawmaker told the Nigeria News Agency on Wednesday in Lagos that the programme, named “Prince of Hope Turns Reality Free Health Mission” was a passion and not just a political slogan.

“We co-opted some experts in the operation of the organisation, and we have structured it in such a way that it cannot be tampered with.

“This is the seventh edition; we pray God grant us sound health so that we can continue to help the masses, to relieve their pains health-wise; health, like we say, is better than wealth,” Yusuf said.

The Nigeria News Agency reports that the five-day health programme took place last week in Alimoso Constituency I in Lagos State with provision for health screening, surgeries, drug dispensary for hundreds of residents.
