NANS lauds Makinde over Olojede’s appointment as SA Student Affairs

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Zone D (Southwest), on Thursday, lauded Gov. Seyi Makinde of Oyo State over the appointment of Mr Victor Olojede as his Special Adviser on Student Affairs.

The commendation was contained in a statement issued by the association’s Southwest Coordinator, Mr Kowe Odunayo, in Ibadan on Thursday.

According to Odunayo, the governor’s gesture is a show of appreciation, adding that he (Makinde) had been fulfilling his promises.

“Youths, they say, are the vanguard of revolution and the true agents of change. This is not only true but profound.

“We sincerely commend the governor for his giant strides in Oyo State and also, for counting it worthy to appoint a befitting individual like Mr Olojede Victor as his special adviser on student affairs,” Odunayo said.

He said that the activities of the governor in recent time had proved himself to be worthy of the position he is holding.

“We can only hope that he sustains it, while implementing policies and programmes that will aid the betterment of the lives of the citizens,” he added.

The coordinator congratulated new special adviser, urging him to make judicious use of the office to aid students’ welfare in the state.
