Nasarawa Varsity Students’ Union lauds VC over campaign against unethical conducts

The Students’ Union Government (SUG) of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, has commended Prof. Suleiman Mohammed, the institution’s Vice-Chancellor, for his efforts at curbing unethical conducts.

The SUG President, Mr Victor Tsaku, gave the commendation while speaking with newsmen on Thursday in Keffi.

He said that the fight against unethical conducts would go a long way in sanitising the system as well as improving the standard of education in the institution.

“For the management of the university to take such a bold step to combat any form of illegality and unethical conducts in the system, the vice-chancellor deserves commendation.

“I want to salute the vice-chancellor for taking such a step. He has indeed listened to the cries of students and other persons for strict adherence to ethical conduct and morality in the institution.

“ As a union, we are ever ready to support him on policies that will bring development and progress to the school.

“We will also ensure that we resist any attempt to lure any student into any form of unethical conduct and we will anyone connected to this unwholesome act in order to sanitise the system.

“Anyone who must come to equity must come with clean hands. so as students’ body, we will also not hesitate to expose any student found wanting,” he said.

The Nigeria News Agency reports that the vice chancellor had, on Oct. 2, launched the campaign against unethical conduct. (NAN)
