Ilorin, Feb 11, 2019 (NAN) Alhaji Abdulazeez Oniyangi, the governorship candidate of the New Progressive Movement (NPM) in Kwara has pledged to prioritise investment in agriculture, health, tourism and education for rapid socio-economic development of the state

Oniyangi made the pledge in Ilorin on Monday at a Youth Summit entitled, “Fresh Minds, Fresh Ideas: Changing the Political Narratives”,organised by his campaign organisation.

The governorship candidate also promised to establish modern poultry farms in each of the 16 local government areas of the state to create a niche for the state, if elected.

He bemoaned the “pitiful“ condition of the state, noting that Kwara did not befit a state created in 1967.

The governorship hopeful also promised to make the state a home of medical tourism to save the huge sum of money being spent on medical care abroad.

Oniyangi said he would set up a primary health centre in each of the political ward in the state for accessible and affordable health services.

The NMP candidate also announced his adoption of President Muhammadu Buhari for re-election and urged his supporters to vote wisely. (NAN)
